The Two Gentlemen of Verona was Shakespeare's first play (written around 1589–90) and The Tempest was his  last (written around 1610). Henry VIII was written later, but it is believed he wrote it with friend and fellow playwright  John Fletcher.

Shakespeare may have written two more plays – Cardenio and
